The technical and economic offers for the execution of the projects of hospitals of Essalud de Piura were presented this Monday to the Private Investment Promotion Agency (Proinversión). These works seek to benefit more than 1.6 million policyholders.
Bids were submitted by the prequalified bidder IBT Health, LLC. in the public act of “Reception of envelopes No. 2 and No. 3; and opening of envelope No. 2”. Envelopes No. 2 contained the sworn declarations of the bidder, the guarantees of validity, validity and seriousness of the offer, and the technical proposals; while envelopes No. 3 contained the financial offers for each hospital.
“The reception of the technical and economic offers, made today, is an important step for the concession delivery of these two long-awaited hospitals, which will help reduce the gap in infrastructure and health services in piura, tumbes and ancashfor the benefit of more than 1.6 million of our compatriots”, highlighted José Salardi, executive director of Proinversión.
In this way, the Evaluation Commission of Envelope No. 2 of Proinversión will evaluate the technical offers in detail; while the financial proposals in envelope No. 3 were sealed and in the custody of the Notary Public.
It is important to mention that The award ceremony for both hospitals will take place on June 28, in which Proinversión will present the results of the evaluation of the technical offer. If the bidder meets the technical requirements established in the bidding rules, economic offers will be opened for each hospital and the respective good pro will be delivered.
The data
The estimated investment in both hospitals is US$323 million. The concession term will be for 20 years, consisting of three years for the development of definitive engineering studies, construction and implementation of the equipment and 17 years of operation and maintenance.
