The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) has of more than S/ 200 million budget to launch the second annual call for the Family Housing Bonus (BFH) of the Own Roof program in the Construction on Own Site modality, announced the Deputy Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Cecilia Lecaros Vértiz.
“An internal redistribution of resources for more than S/ 200 million has been made, and it is already being processed before the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) authorization to use these budget balances”, indicated the deputy minister during a technical meeting held with representatives of unions and associations of technical entities (companies dedicated to executing the works subsidized with the BFH).
The MVCS estimates that this second annual call will allow more than 8,000 families to be served with the BFH for On-Site Construction of scarce resources.
According to the official, the aforementioned launch is scheduled for the first half of Octoberand, after this process, the MVCS will start with the MEF the procedures for an additional budget request that allows it to carry out Own Roof: MVCS will launch in October the second call for Construction on Own Site.
Construction on the MVCS’s own site
The BFH for Build-On-Site It is a subsidy of S/ 27,600 that helps families whose monthly income does not exceed S/ 2,706 build their homes on reclaimed land or independent air.
In January of this year, the MVCS launched the first annual call for the Own Roof program in the Construction on Own Site modality, with a budget of S/ 523,618,172 million. These resources were planned for 18,971 bonds, of which only a little more than 2,000 remain to be disbursed, according to the Ministry of Housing.
