She assures that it was a delightful surprise to receive the recognition that consists of advice and also monetary resources that help her deepen her entrepreneurship that will be officially launched in October.

MeanwhileMaría Eugenia Garrido was also the winner with her venture called Virtune Mall. It is a digital platform where the entire value chain: from consumers, referrals and entrepreneurs, generates income. This project seeks to be a digital solution that encourages electronic commerce, promotes the financial inclusion of thousands of women in South America and allows them to generate income with equal opportunities. Every affiliate receives a margin of the product or service that is sold by their reference from: food, clothing, payment of water, electricity, education, among others, and on the other hand, every store of entrepreneurs and businesses has thousands of distributors of their products or services. . Thus redistributing in a more equitable way the income generated by the commercialization of the thousands of products available on the platform. “Our purpose is to be the digital solution that encourages electronic commerce, promotes the financial inclusion of thousands of women in South America and allows them to generate income with equal opportunities,” says Garrido. The platform was launched in March 2021 and in eight months it generated 8,000 users.

In terms of employment, full-time jobs created by enterprises increased by 79.6%. Of those new jobs, 54% were held by women.
