Plenary session constitutional Court is currently meeting in an extraordinary session, via video conference (zoom platform), deal with decrees of economic urgency, related to the decrees of the law on tax issues and free zones.

The meeting was convened for this reason Friday, June 16, at 11:00 a.m. exactly after 30 days. since the President of the Republic sent the first urgent decree on the tax law in economic matters. This deadline for the tax issue coincides with the one taken by the dissolved Assembly, to resolve urgent economic issues.

He the issue of the mandate of the Constitutional Court to act on urgent decisions, which is not defined by law, was the subject of discussion, since the Court was supposed to deal with them in an accelerated procedure in which its role was to verify their constitutionality. However, the Court took a month to process, which included a hearing to hear arguments from the executive branch and various amicus curiae who were invited to contribute to the argument.
