The National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) will hold its first auction of the year in the city of Arequipa, where it will auction 17 properties attached to people and companies who failed to pay fines for violating the rights of the consumers.
Among the goods to auction appear departmentshouses, land, warehouse, commercial premises, parking, commercial office which are located in the provinces of Caylloma and Castilla; as well as in the districts of Cayma, Paucarpata, Socabaya, Cerro Colorado and Sachaca de la Arequipa city.
Interested parties may purchase, for example, a home in the province of Castilla, whose base value is S/130,000 or a department in the Miraflores district, at a price of S/150,000.

Real estate auction in Arequipa: when, where and at what time?
The auction will take place on Tuesday June 20 at 9:00 am at the MAC de Arequipa auditorium, located at 500 Porongoche Avenue, interior LS20 (Mall Aventura), Paucarpata.

How to participate in the auction?
- The interested must show up 20 minutes before of the scheduled time with valid ID. Those with expired documents will be prevented from participating.
- must credit an amount not less than 10% of the appraisal value of the property they wish to acquire, either in cash or by cashier’s check in the name of the indecopi.
- Those who participate on behalf of a natural or legal person must present a valid power of attorneyregistered in the respective registry office.
