The Bank of Credit of Peru (BCP) launched a virtual course for users of the Yape digital wallet to learn about financial education. The course, which is 100% online and free, will allow you to learn more about the creditspersonal finances and tools to enhance a business.
The topics offered by the course include “How to have a good credit history“”, “How to organize my money with Yape”, “Benefits of using digital wallets”, “How loans work”, among others.

Yape course: what will you find?
The first module consists of a nine-minute video that discusses the importance of identifying your budgetwhich It will allow you to keep track of your income and expenses. Once you have recognized them, you can develop an action plan for your fixed and variable expenses.
At the end of each video, you must develop an evaluation of five questions. To progress further, you have to reach at least 80% correct answers. At the end of the virtual courserYou will receive a free certificate.
How to request a loan from Yape?
The Yape credits range from S/150 to S/500 with a payment term up to 35 days. The TCEA (Annual Effective Cost Rate) is 89.97%. If you decided to request a microcredit of Yapeyou must follow the following steps:
- Enter Yapetap on the three-line menu, and then choose the option “Credits”.
- If this is your first time requesting one, a confirmation screen will appear. Accept to continue.
- Select the amount and payment date of your preference.
- Valid and confirm the data of your request.
- Then review and accept the terms and credit conditions.
- Finally, enter the code that will arrive by text message and confirm receipt of your loan.
