Trujillo: producers plan to sell 100,000 pairs of shoes

With the Calzaferia 2021 In the El Porvenir district, Trujillo province, medium and small producers seek to sell some 100,000 pairs of shoes to reactivate the leather sector, which has been hit hard by the economic crisis generated by the coronavirus pandemic.

The exhibition and sale contest It opened on November 19 and to date, in a week, it has already managed to purchase 7,000 pairs of footwear. The Calzaferia will remain open until December 5, the president of the organizing committee, Elías León Rosales, informed the press.

“We want to reach 100,000 pairs sold. It has 65 shoe stands and 85 stands of gastronomy from the different regions of the country and leather crafts. For this reason, we invite the public to visit the footwear fair located in blocks 12 and 13 of Pumacahua avenue ”, indicated León.

He added that they are selling spring-summer designer footwear as a product from the factory to the consumer.

“Still two weeks away to achieve the goal of 100,000 pairs that is planned to sell. We thank the mayor of El Porvenir, Víctor Rebaza Benites, for the support he has given to this contest, ”said Elías León.
