The public budget for fiscal year 2022, approved last Thursday, November 25 in the Plenary of Congress, It responds to the dialogue agreed between the Legislative Power and the Executive.
“It is a decentralized budget with a human face and social sensitivity,” said Héctor Acuña (APP), president of the Budget Commission.
Extraordinary bonus
And it is that, apart from the historical fact of allowing collective bargaining of salary improvements in the public sector as of next year, the budget also includes the distribution of extraordinary bonuses for the beneficiaries of the National Pension System (SNP).
One of the final supplementary provisions authorizes –in fiscal year 2021– the delivery of S / 350 to pensioners and beneficiaries of the SNP, as well as those of the Special Social Security Regime for Fishing Workers and Pensioners; all this in addition to the amount of the pensions or benefits they receive monthly.
In this sense, the regulations indicate that the ONP will make the payment of said extraordinary bonus during December of this year, for which the MEF will allocate S / 203 million 322,700.
According to the latest figures available, the ONP it has just over 565,000 pensioners and approximately 8,000 fishing pensioners.
Provisional pensions
Another final complementary provision of the 2022 budget determines that the ONP will deliver a provisional pension for those affiliates who requested access to a disability pension at work, retirement or survivor, and who have not received any type of response within 30 business days of your order.
Said provisional pension will be equal to the minimum amount of the pension established for each type of benefit, which amounts to S / 500, and will be given for the duration of the crisis of the Covid-19. At the same time, the ONP will continue ex officio with the procedures for the definitive pension, which must be issued within a maximum term of one year after the end of the health emergency.
More bonuses
The green light was also given to the delivery of a bonus of S / 8,370 for the inspectors of the National Superintendency of Labor Inspection (Sunafil). Said Inspection Function Bonus will be given annually and is not adjustable or compatible with another concept of income under a similar denomination.
Finally, as happened on previous occasions, the budget also includes the application of an exceptional anti-corruption bonus of S / 2,400 per month for provincial prosecutors specialized in corruption crimes.
To this is added, for example, the extension of the orphan’s pension of S / 200 for children and adolescents who lost their parents due to the pandemic.
