Peru will receive, in November of this year, the presidency of the next Asia-Pacific Cooperation Forum (APEC 2024) in San Francisco (United States). The official stressed that the importance of this event lies in the fact that this region represents around 65% of the global GDP and approximately 50% of the world trade. “The presence of the United States, China, Russia and Japan gives a very important economic dynamic,” she commented during a meeting at the Foreign Ministry.
