According to the supreme resolution No. 168-2021-PCM, published in the official newspaper El Peruano, the political scientist Giofianni Peirano Torriani has been appointed as president of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Strategic Planning (Ceplan).
He is a magister in Political Science and Government with a mention in Public Policy from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Trilingual: speaks English, German and Spanish. In addition, he has been a national and international consultant. Researcher and professor at universities and graduate schools: Pucp, Usil, UPC, UARM.
He is an international expert in State reform, public policies, public management, strategic planning, decentralization, regionalization, environmental issues, among other matters. Peirano enters replacement of Javier Abugattás, who has been in office since August 2016.
