“IMARPE coordinates and monitors the development of the aforementioned exploratory fishing and must notify the Ministry of Production in a timely manner about the development of this exploratory fishing, recommending as soon as possible, management measures that are necessary; or if applicable, the suspension of activities, the immediate closure of fishing areas due to incidence of juveniles or entanglement, the conclusion of exploratory fishing, as appropriate.”indicates the norm.
In the same way, the end of the first season will also occur when Imarpe recommends it, both due to environmental or biological circumstances or once the authorized Maximum Total Permissible Catch Limit of the North – Center Zone (LMTCP North – Center) has been reached, which is 1 million ninety-one thousand tons.
