Three airlines will introduce new routes from airports in Ecuador according to United States, Mexico and Panama. According to him Ministry of Transport and Public Works, These flights will start operating during the month of June Avianca, Copa Airlines and Long live Aerobus!

Following June 15 the same airline will start flying from Quito Cancún with three flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Viva Aerobus, a Mexican airline, will offer flights from Cancun to Quito from Friday June 16. These flights will also depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The last route will be operated by Copa Airlines, an airline based in Panama. From Tuesday June 27 there will be flights on the line three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays Panama-Manta.

According to the press release from Ministry of Transport and Public Works, The goal is to exceed the number of air operations that existed before the pandemic, while attracting international investment and benefiting the country’s economic and production development.

As of June 1, Ecuador has reduced the Eco Delta rate applicable to flights departing from Ecuador, from a fixed value of USD 50 to 5% of the net price of the air transportation service, with a maximum upper limit of USD 50, for international operations which are performed at Quito and Guayaquil airports.
