Through bill 5200/2022-CR, presented by congressman Juan Burgosit is sought that the family allowance benefits workers in the public and private sectors.
In detail, the text points to cover with 10% of the minimum vital remuneration not only the workers of DL 728, but also those of DL 276 —indistinctly if they are career public servants, contracted or trusted personnel— and also CAS.
The document recalls that only those of 728 receive this right of 10% of the RMV, that is, S/102.5, while those of 276, barely S/3.00.
Who would access? Those employees who have one or more minor children. If you have two children, the rate would be 15% and three or more, 20%.
The benefit will be extended if one or more children of legal age are pursuing higher or university studies for up to six years after the age of 18, and if one or more have a severe disability certified by the National Health Authority, unless they receive a non-contributory pension by law 29973.
The text has been sent to the Labor Commission and the Budget Commission of the Congress.
