Jann got a second chance at Eurovision! He will represent Poland in the OGAE Second Chance

Although he failed to win the Polish pre-selection for Eurovision, he is becoming more and more sought after. Jann will perform at this year’s Orange Warsaw Festival and FEST Festival, and these are not the only concerts that await him in the near future. The 24-year-old will represent Poland in the OGAE Second Chance contest, organized by Eurovision fans.

Jann is really Jan Rozmanowski, who grew up in Garwolin. In 2013, his family took part in the program “Our New Home”, and a few years later went to Northern Ireland. Before emigrating, he managed to sing at the National Opera in, among others, in the play King Roger, and in the UK he studied at Flynn Performing Arts in Newry and studied vocal at the BIIM in London. After graduation, he moved to Warsaw in 2022 and released his debut EP “Power”.

Jann’s career is skyrocketing

Another turning point in his career was the participation in the Polish pre-selections for Eurovision, where he presented the song “Gladiator”. Many fans of the competition bet that he will go to represent our country in Liverpool, but in the end he took second place. Blanka became the representative of Poland, which many people did not like and for a long time appealed for Jann to take her place.

It turns out that the 24-year-old got his second chance in the context of the Eurovision Song Contest. It was his piece “Gladiator” that was chosen as the Polish representative for the OGAE Second Chance competition. This is a plebiscite organized by the International Association of Eurovision Song Contest Enthusiasts, in which performers who were not pre-selected in their countries participate.

Jann scored 1491 points in the OGAE Polska vote (165 members of the association cast their votes). Dominik Dudek from “Be Good” (1170 points) and Alicja Szemplińska from “New Home” (902) took the next places. Our country has been participating in OGAE Second Chance since 2003, and the greatest success so far has been achieved by Margaret, with the song “Cool Me Down” in 2016, who managed to take first place.
