Dollar in Peru: exchange rate closes higher and stands at S / 4,032

The price of the dollar closed higher and was located at S / 4,032 in operations on Thursday, November 25, which represents an increase of 0.15% compared to yesterday’s closing, when the greenback was located at S / 4, 0260, as reported by Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).

The purchase in the parallel market was located at S / 4,015 and the sale at S / 4,040. Regarding the price of dollar In the main windows of the country, it is located in the purchase S / 3,993 and the sale S / 4,047.

To contain the rise in the dollar, the issuing entity sold 8 million dollars at an average exchange rate of S / 4.0320 per dollar. In addition, it placed exchange swaps for 151 million soles.

This happened while it was known that this morning the request for the presidential vacancy motion was presented against Pedro Castillo Terrones, after the promoter of this measure, Patricia Chirinos (Avanza País), obtained the 28 required signatures.
