Inflation 2022: which products rose the most in price in August and which ones fell?

Inflation in Metropolitan Lima was 0.67% in August 2022. The products that increased in price the most during August 2022 in Metropolitan Lima were bonito (+33.46%), lemon (+18%), basil (+17.97%), yellow potato (+16.59%), corn (+16.30%), horse mackerel (+10 .69%), parakeet (+9.70%) and papa huayro (+8.85%).

On the contrary, the carrot marked the most important drop in prices during August (-19.21%). In opposition to these products with the highest consumption by Peruvians, gasohol was the one that lowered its price the most (-8.62%), followed by national airfare (-18.34%), carrots (-19.21% ), strawberries (-14.08%) and chicken eggs (-2.14%).

How much is the current inflation in Peru?
