Uruguayan clothing brand BAS opened a store this week in the city of Manta, Manabí. This is the fourth establishment of the company in Ecuador. The other three stores are located in different shopping centers in Guayaquil.
Ecuador is the first country in the region where BAS has expanded its investment beyond the Uruguayan border, with the program projected to create at least 400 direct jobs over the next five years.

356,000 US dollars were invested in the new space, and it was built on 381.42 square meters. In this store, located on Paseo Shopping Manta, 9 new jobs have been created.
The brand offers basic collections of clothes for all times and for everyone in the family, because it has a diverse collection for dad, mom and children in basic, beach, school, sport styles and even clothes for babies from 0 to 24 months.

At the end of the inauguration ceremony, 20 girls and boys from the Rio Manta Foundation were the first to wear Baso’s clothes, toured the new premises, and experienced a simulated shopping experience.
