Sunafil: more than 475,000 workers have been formalized so far this year

According to the National Superintendence of Labor Inspection (Sunafil)from January 2022 to May of this year, the the labor formalization of 475,810 workers thanks to inspection, registration of the Verifica tu Chamba application and technical assistance at the national level.

For her part, Superintendent Flor Cruz Rodríguez has indicated that the public entity also takes preventive actions in order for employers to respect labor rights. Thus, so far this year, 109,174 workers and 11,558 employers have been guided through 5,137 guidance actions on social and labor matters and occupational health and safety.

Likewise, informative conferences, virtual courses and awareness campaigns have been carried out that reached 163,436 people. Among the main regions that received orientations and informative talks are Loreto, Arequipa, Piura, Cajamarca, Metropolitan Lima and San Martín.

Sunafil recalls that it is the duty of every employer to register their employees on the payroll in order to avoid fines or administrative processes that harm the development of business and that prevent them from participating in State contracting processes or having easy access to credit at interest rates. interest rates that help the growth of its economic activity.
