Retired Colonel Luis Patricio Bonilla was appointed on Friday, May 19, as the new Executive Director of the Agency for Regulation and Control of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources (ARCERNNR).
The appointment was made after a meeting of the board of this agency, which was led by the Minister of Energy and Mining, Fernando Santos Alvite.

Bonilla replaced Luis Maingón Velasco, who had been in that position since August 30, 2022.
