The Ecuadorian brand opens its tenth cafeteria and adds more than 100 sources of employment

With the aim of continuing to promote the consumption of “superfoods”, i.e. foods of high nutritional value among citizens, the tenth location of Prot Inn Coffee Shop was opened in Ecuador.

“Our purpose is to improve people’s lives through nutrition,” said David Pareja, CEO and founder of Prot Inn Coffee Shop, a protein-based coffee shop with presence in Guayaquil, Quito and Samboronón.

The brand opened this new location in Quicentro Shopping Center, part of DK Management Services, a shopping center operator that also owns projects such as Quicentro Sur, Portal Shopping, Granados Plaza, San Luis Shopping, Quito Airport Center (Quito); Malteria Plaza (Latacunga); San Marino Shopping (Guayaquil), Mall del Pacífico (Manta) and, soon, Bombolí Shopping in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas.

The idea was born ten years ago when Pareja started studying sports supplementation. “Prot Inn considers several processes with a sustainable mission that make it a sustainable cafeteria: quality food, saving resources such as water and electricity, zero waste, recycling/reusing, local suppliers. Additionally, the cafeteria has short-term goals to eradicate single-use plastics, aligned with the 2030 goals,” Pareja said.

Almost five years of public acceptance has been very demanding, according to Pareja, who indicated that the brand is constantly innovating its menu. He pointed out that the purpose is to continue expanding not only in the domestic territory but also in the world.

Prot Inn creates more than 100 jobs and offers more than 80 products, including food and drink. Products are created by health and nutrition experts.

Pareja indicated that it is important to find a balance through a new way of eating, behaving and feeling good. He said they work so that people know the impact food has on their bodies: “Everything you love in a healthy and very tasty version.”
