Dollar in Peru: exchange rate opens lower and is quoted at S / 4.0201

The exchange rate began to fall on Wednesday, November 24, and stood at S / 4.0201 at 9:10 am, with which an increase was noted at the close of last Tuesday, when it stood at S / 4.0110 according to the report of Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).

The purchase of the dollar in the parallel market is at S / 3,995, as for the sale, it amounts to S / 4,030. Likewise, the price of the green ticket in the Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) is quoted at S / 3,958, the purchase and sale at S / 4,068 according to the portal Cualcuestaeldolar.

This occurs while debating the rulings on the debt law, the financial balance law and the public budget law for fiscal year 2022, which were unanimously approved by the Budget Commission of the Congress and they have not yet been put to the vote.
