Oil production in barrels per day (BPD) in April 2023 was slightly lower than the previous month and stands at 42,576 BPD.
According to a report by the Peruvian Hydrocarbons Society (SPH), which collects official data from Perupetro, the figure registered in April was 1.6% higher than that obtained in the same month last year.
“Among the batches with the highest production of this total are: batch X located in Piura with 9,008 barrels, batch 95 located in Loreto with 21,182 barrels, followed by batch Z-2B with 4,565 barrels. The batches that do not register production are: batch 67 , Z-1, and Z-6”, indicated the SPH.
Regarding the production of natural gas, a decrease is observed, going from 1,451 MCFD in March to 1,369 MCFD in April 2023. The figure for this month is slightly higher than the same month of the previous year.
“The companies that reported the highest production growth were: Pluspetrol with 65,309 MBPD, followed by Repsol with 13,221 MBPD,” he sent.
