7 out of 10 are looking for an apartment to rent

Although the price of rental housing has increased during the last stretch, the percentage of people who are looking for real estate to rent too has been shot. This translates into 67.2% of the total real estate searches average made each month on the internet for the past two years, according to a study by the Impulse Data Intelligence Unit commissioned by Babylon.

The investigation details that, between January 2021 and February 2023, throughout the country, around seven out of ten people (77.9%) are looking for apartments to rent, while 22.1% are looking for houses. The ages of 58% of interested users range from 26 to 40 years.

In addition, according to the study, the type of property most sought after by people are apartments, with a participation of 69.3%, followed by houses (33.9%), offices (21.8%), commercial premises (15 .4%) and land (9.1%).
