The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) authorized the transfer of S/ 395,701,250 million to the MiVivienda Fund to guarantee that the Bono Familiar Habitacional (BFH) of the Techo Propio program, in the modality of acquiring a new home, continues to be delivered until end of the year.
This is established by Ministerial Resolution 210-2022-HOUSING, published this August 10 in the official newspaper El Peruano and signed by the head of the MVCS, César Paniagua Chacón.
According to the ministry, this transfer will allow 9,831 families with limited economic resources to access the subsidy of S / 40,250 to facilitate the purchase of a home.
The aforementioned resolution establishes that the authorized financial transfer will be charged to the budget approved in the current fiscal year. These resources may not be used for other purposes.
The General Directorate of Programs and Projects in Housing and Urban Development of the MVCS will be responsible for monitoring, follow-up and fulfillment of the purposes and goals of the transfer.
What are the requirements to access the S/ 40,250 bonus?
The Family Housing Bonus in the new home purchase modality is an economic aid that families whose monthly income does not exceed S/ 3,715 can receive.
The property to be acquired must have a value of up to S/ 96,300, if it is a single-family home, or a value of up to S/ 120,300, if it is a property in a multi-family building, country house or residential complex.
The MVCS highlighted that, between January and July of this year, 10,359 BFH have been delivered in this modality.
