Cinema at 6 soles: Indecopi’s three basic recommendations to avoid surprises with your tickets

The National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) provided recommendations to have a good experience in the Film Festivalpromoted by the National Association of Movie Theaters of Peru (Anasaci). In this event, hundreds of followers of the film culture will attend from this Monday, April 24 to Wednesday, April 26, and will be able to purchase tickets to S/6. In this regard, what should be taken into account to avoid inconveniences when buying tickets, entering food or taking advantage of promotions? Here we explain it to you.

Indecopi: recommendations for the Film Festival

• Purchase of tickets: do not get tickets from scalpers, in this way you will avoid scams. If you buy them virtually, make sure you do it through the official websites or applications. Similarly, avoid spreading the QR code or barcode to avoid duplication
• Entry of food: admission to movie theaters with food that you bought outside the establishment is authorized, as long as these are the same or similar to those offered in the movie cafeterias
• Promotions and means of payment: each cinema is obliged to comply with the promotions that they advertise on their social networks in relation to their stock, hours and limitations. This information must be clear and easily accessible to each consumer.

It is important to highlight that indecopi reminds consumers that, in the event of any inconvenience, they can submit their claim to the cinema chain through its claim book, and the latter has the obligation to provide a response within a non-extendable period of 15 business days.
