In the session of the ad hoc commission, which will take place this Thursday, April 27, The criteria will be approved to make the return of contributions to workers viable. This was announced by the National Federation of Fonavistas and Pensioners Association of Perua union that participates in said working group with three representatives, on its official Facebook page.
“The difficulties of the accreditation of monetary contributions made by the Fonavistas to Fonavi versus the obligation to return their money immediately, as ordered by the Congress of the Republic, generate the need to establish some criteria that allow expediting the return to all fonavistas, safeguarding the right to propertydepending on the accreditation of contributions made by the Technical Secretariat or the Fonavista itself, through supporting documentation that will allow, if necessary, an additional disbursement,” they emphasized.
The Fonavistas also made it clear that they will continue working for the recognition of the total refund of contributions, which amounts to more than S/42,000 million, according to calculations by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF). This occurred after the Constitutional Court (TC) recently issued a controversial ruling that cuts the State debt to S/6,000 million, because it only recognizes the contributions of exfonavistas, but not employers.
“The Fenaf Peru association will continue in the fight to establish, via Congress or the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, the return of the employer’s contribution. Likewise, we are helping the fonavistas in the process of accreditation of their contributions to Fonavi” they stated.
How are contributions to the National Housing Fund accredited?
It must be taken into account that an essential requirement for the return of the money contributed by the workers is that they are duly accredited. If you haven’t done it yet, you still have time. Do not forget that you do not need to hire any processor.
To carry out this process, you must go in person to the Fenaf Peru office, which is located in the jirón Rufino Torrico 889, office 210, Cercado de Lima or to the base offices in the province. It should be remembered that if the exporter died, direct relatives will be able to collect this money.
You can also do it virtually on the page of the Technical Secretariat:
- Enter the LINK of the Fonavi Technical Secretariat.
- Choose the Register option siphonavi or go to this LINK.
- Enter your ID or identification document.
- Create your username and password.
- Submit the requested documentation and in a few days you will appear as part of the return register.
