In Cusco To date, 15 infrastructure projects have been worked on under the modality of works for taxes (OxI) with an investment of more than S/221 million in eight of its 13 provinces, according to Werner Salcedogovernor of said region.
Among the projects are the construction of eight educational institutions that are underway, as well as two potable water and sewerage projects that have already been completed. Of the total, only one work is in the award stage.

In this line, he stressed that among the most important works that the regional government will promote is the Ivochote-Camisea highway that will require S/550 million investment. In the project portfolio, the construction of the Antonio Lorena regional hospital also stands out, which, according to Salcedo, in December will have the profile with the quality of a technical file for S/650 million.
Other works are the construction of the Highway Anta – Chinchaypujio – Cutuqtay for S/250 million that will allow access to Las Bambas in shorter times, the highway Yauri–Suykutambo (S/187.3 million), the saint tomas hospital (S/144.1 million), the departmental highway Muyuorcco – Colquemarca (S/239.8 million), etc.
Regarding the status of the projects, 10 are to be prioritized, nine in idea, eight prioritized, six in previous acts and in formulation.
