The Ministry of Production (Produce) launched the contest Good Practices in Negotiable Invoices, with which it seeks to encourage private companies and public entities to implement good practices in the management of negotiable invoices from their suppliers of goods and/or services, mainly mypes. The objective is promote the use of this financial instrument as a mechanism to obtain immediate liquidity.
Private companies and public entities from all over Peru that acquire goods and services, mainly from mypes, and that have voluntarily implemented any action aimed at improving the management of negotiable invoices within their institution, may participate. In turn, said action must be impactful, sustainable, replicable, innovative and resilient.
The Minister of Production, Raul Perez Reyeshighlighted this initiative in a context in which negotiable invoices (factoring) are constituted as a key financial tool to provide quick access to working capital to mypes.
“This contest is part of the sector’s strategy to encourage regulatory compliance in terms of negotiable invoices. We have decided to launch the contest in this category to prioritize the economic reactivation in Peru through the promotion of the use of the negotiable invoice as an immediate financing instrument in favor of mypes”, emphasized the head of the sector.
The winners will be able to participate in fairs and events that are organized and/or in which the sector participates. Likewise, their good practices will be disseminated through Produce’s official website and social networks, as well as being included in the ranking of Good Practices of MYPE and Industry.
How to take part?
- The call is open until May 31, 2023.
- Those interested can enter the portal https://buenaspracticas.produce.gob.pe to review the bases, follow the steps to apply, access the formats, dates and frequently asked questions.
- Once the forms are filled out, submit them through the Produce Virtual Parts Table. For any questions about the contest, the email buenaspracticasmypei@produce.gob.pe has been enabled.
