Chinese phone brand Honor launched its new Magic5 lite smartphone on Tuesday, April 18. He did so at an event in Guayaquil attended by company executives in Ecuador.

The smartphone has a compact design, a 6.67-inch curved OLED screen with an image resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a long-lasting 5100 milliampere (mAh) battery, which was awarded the “Gold Battery” seal this year. Dxomark, a trade site described as an independent benchmark that scientifically evaluates smartphones, lenses and cameras.
Company executives also highlighted the design of the rear camera of the new Magic5 lite with its 3 lenses that include an ultra-clear 64MP main camera, a 5MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera.
Honor is positioned for the first time in China, appearing as a competitor to the brands Samsung, Apple and Xiaomi.

The positioning is also reflected in Latin American countries such as: Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, Ecuador, Chile and Panama, with various products including wearables and smartphones.
This brand delivered 15 million units during 2022 and had an annual growth of 205%.
The new smartphone is available nationwide at tech stores, in Mystic Frost and Emerald Green colors, priced at $459.
