How to find out which AFP you are affiliated with and how much money you have saved in your pension fund?

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, six extraordinary withdrawals from the Pension Fund Administrators (AFP) have been authorized in Peru, which involved the release of S/87,962 million, according to data from the AFP Association. Now, from the Congressa new disbursement of individual funds is promoted which, despite the position against the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), keeps thousands of affiliates of the Private Pension System (SPP). While these initiatives await an opinion, you can find out which AFP you are affiliated with and how much money you have saved with simple steps.

How do I know which AFP I belong to?

In case you don’t remember which fund manager you’re with affiliateyou can find out through the website of the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS) at this link: servicios.sbs.gob.pe/ReporteSituacionPrevisional/Afil_Consulta.aspx

Once you have entered the website, write your last and first names, then click on “Search”. Next, you will be able to see the report of your pension situation, in which you will see from what dates you are affiliated and if you are still active in the SPP.

How much do I have saved in my AFP?

It is important to review the contributions that you have saved in your pension fund and how the profitability of your savings is managed. In the following link that we will show you below, you will be able to see the details of your account statement, commissions and charges, among others.

  • AFP Integra: go to the following page in this link to see your account statement.
  • AFP Premium: enter the page in this link and in the part that indicates “My account” you put your ID number and password.
  • AFP Habitat: To find out about your savings, go to this link and enter your ID number and password today. If you don’t remember the latter, click here.
  • future: if you belong to this AFP, go to this link to look at your account statement.

AFP: what is missing for a seventh withdrawal to take place?

This is one of the biggest questions for affiliates who want to see their savings deposited in the AFPs in their accounts. At least one of the six legislative projects that propose a new release of funds, requires to be debated and approved in the Economy Commission. In the same way, in the Work Commission, whose management group could make adjustments to any of the initiatives.

Once it has the green light in both ruling commissions, it will go to plenary for its respective debate and vote. If it is approved in that instance, it remains in the hands of the Executive for their respective observation or promulgation in the official newspaper El Peruano.

For now, the MEF, BCRP and the SBS They have spoken out against a possible authorization for the withdrawal of pension funds and have argued that a seventh disbursement would affect the retirement savings of the affiliates.
