Thus, national visitors, foreigners residing in the country and citizens of the Andean Community (CAN) – made up of Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador and Colombia – will access the Inca monuments with a price of S / 64 for the general rate.

While the rate for university or technical higher education students, as well as for minors, will be S / 32.

It is worth mentioning that the underage rate covers visitors from 3 to 17 years old; In addition, those under 3 years of age have free admission.

According to RM N ° 000325-2021-DM / MC recently published in the official gazette, promotional rates will be maintained in order to promote and encourage the sustainable development of tourism activity after the socioeconomic and health impacts caused by the Covid pandemic. -19.

Requirements

To enter the Machu Picchu llaqta, it is essential to present the DNI, immigration card or valid passport that proves the legal status of being Peruvian, foreign resident or citizen of any of the CAN countries.

While for students, the valid higher education card issued by the National Superintendency of Higher University Education (Sunedu), by the Ministry of Education or original valid card (with personal data, photograph and expiration date) of the foreign university or technical institution belonging to CAN member countries.

Finally, the Ministry of Culture reminds that the stay in the Llaqta of Machu Picchu will take place according to the criteria established by the Decentralized Directorate of Culture of Cusco.
