The Peruvian Government transferred S/ 209 million 179,974 this morning from the Contingency Reserve in favor of various regional and local governments, in order to attend to the emergency due to huaicos that has hit various regions of the country.

It should be noted that the immediate actions to attend to imminent danger and emergencies due to the impact of damage or a large-scale disaster in the event of heavy rains and associated dangers do not include training, technical assistance, monitoring, vehicle acquisition, remuneration or compensation.

However, the use of the budget for remunerations or remunerations is admitted in the case of third-party services directly linked to the care of the population in the face of imminent danger and emergencies due to the impact of damage or a large-scale disaster due to the occurrence of heavy rains. and associated dangers.

Finally, regional governments and local governments, up to 15 calendar days after the end of each month of the current fiscal year, must submit to the National Civil Defense Institute (Indeci) a report on the actions carried out and results obtained within the framework of the established in this standard.
