The Paracas spa registered 68,000 visitors during the long Easter weekendaccording to a report from the Chamber of Tourism and Foreign Trade of Paracas (Capatur).
“It is a historical record and far exceeds the influx of visitors in 2019, which was 50,000,” said Eduardo Jáuregui, president of Capatur.
In detail, some 32,000 people decided to know the Paracas National Reservewhile 28,000 visited the Ballestas Islands. Another 8,000 tourists preferred a ‘full day’ to enjoy the amusement park in the Paracas sea, Yaku Park, and marine gastronomy.
In total, it was possible to achieve US$4 million for lodging, food, transfers, tours, among others.

The next activities in the port city are:
- April 30: Yaku Park will celebrate its first anniversary with the presence of musical groups.
- May 27 and 28: Yakumama or Tribute to the Paracas Sea
- Last week of June: National Ceviche Day
- July: National Pisco Day
- September: World Tourism Day.
