The Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) ratified Rosa Veronica Zambrano Copello in charge of President of the Board of Directors of the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Transport Infrastructure for Public Use (ositran), for a second period at the head of the regulatory entity.
Through Supreme Resolution No. 060-2023-PCM, published today in the official newspaper El Peruano, it was made official that Verónica Zambrano will lead Ositrán for five more years, a period that runs from February 14, 2022 to February 14, 2027.
The second term for the official, who had already been elected in 2017 through Supreme Resolution No. 099-2017-PCM signed by Prime Minister Fernando Zavala and former President Pedro Pablo Kuczinski.
The current head of Ositrán is a lawyer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), a specialist in Telecommunications and Regulation of Public Services, Investments, Concessions and Privatization Processes. She is also a Magister in Law from the PUCP, with PhD studies in the same house of studies.
Before, Verónica Zambrano was advisor to the Presidency of the National Port Authority (APN) and general manager of that entity, she was also an advisor to the Senior Management of the Supervisory Agency for Private Investment in Telecommunications (Osiptel).
