La Libertad: businessmen demand stability from the central government

Entrepreneurs from different areas, who are affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce of La Libertad (CCLL), sued the central government political and economic stability to carry out their work and thus initiate the long-awaited reactivation for the development of the region and the country as a whole.

The new president of the CCLL, Alfonso Medrano Samamé, asked the Executive to take concrete measures to get out of the crisis that the pandemic has brought of the coronavirus and to create more jobs.

“In the past, businessmen have disregarded politics, thinking that it was the most appropriate thing to do; however, the current circumstances force us to take a more active position. For this reason, we ask the new authorities that will be elected in the elections on October 2 to provide facilities to continue reactivating the economy in La Libertad”, Medrano Samamé mentioned to journalists.

The president of the Liberta business entity exhorted the next district and provincial mayors and regional governors to have as one of its main axes the socioeconomic factor.

“We exhort the future mayors and regional governors to work jointly with the congressmen to have facilities in infrastructure, laws and stable conditions. This, in order to be able to contribute in a tangible way for the benefit of society and make Liberty the second power, after Lima. Comply with these requests and we take care of the rest”, he limited.
