However, in the case of the north, a contraction of visitors is expected due to the intense rains produced by Cyclone Yaku. “Places that have not been affected by weather events and social upheaval will be chosen in order to guarantee their safety and integrity,” said Mendoza.

It should be noted that prices will increase between 30% to 40% in air and land transportation, guide service and hotels, but the costs in restaurants and entrance fees to tourist sites will remain.
