The Executive Branch authorized the Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem) heThe exceptional transfer of 31 million 047,432 soles destined to the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining (Osinergmin) to preserve the assets of the former project “Improvements to the country’s energy security and development of the South Peruvian Gas Pipeline”.
According to DU no. 007-2023, published this Monday in the extraordinary edition of El Peruanothe resources will allow the financing of the administration of the concession assets of the aforementioned project until June 2023, within the framework of the actions for the delivery of the possession of the belongings to its owner or to the corresponding person in charge.
Therefore, Minem is exceptionally authorized, during fiscal year 2023, to dispose of its balance sheet balances by the source of financing of determined resources, which said entity previously incorporates into its institutional budget, for the sum of S/31 million 047,432 , to pay for the administration of the concession assets of the former project “Improvements to the country’s energy security and development of the Southern Peruvian Gas Pipeline” until June 12, 2023, including the renewal of the insurance policy for the aforementioned belongings.
The regulation, whose validity ends on December 31 of this year, also indicates that the financial resources plus interest generated by unused balances on that date must be reverted to Minem, in accordance with the procedures established by the National Treasury System.
The device bears the signatures of the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte Zegarra; the head of the Council of Ministers, Luis Alberto Otárola Peñaranda; the Minister of Economy and Finance, Alex Contreras Miranda; and the head of Energy and Mines, Óscar Vera Gargurevich.

That same year, since December, the company Estudios Técnicos SAS was delegated the administration, custody, preservation and maintenance of the assets received from the Gasoducto Sur Peruano SA.
