Approximately 1.1 million foreign travelers will arrive, which represents a growth of 137.8% compared to last year, and the number of domestic tourism in the country would reach 24.14 million. The latter means an increase of 55.1% compared to 2021.
Along these lines, the travel agency Rappi Travel also projected a growth of more than 280% in this 2022, compared to the previous year.
“So far this year, we have grown around 91% in the number of users in Peru compared to last year and increased total sales by approximately 161%, compared to last year,” reported Guido Becher, leader Global of Travel.
Likewise, it is estimated that for June and September the percentage in the ticket sales lead sales with almost 85%, followed by hotel reservations and car purchases.
“One of our passions is to offer users more options every day so that they can buy what they like, at a good price and in a practical way. We are aware that after the pandemic, consumers have three priorities: they do not want to lose money, they are looking for authentic experiences that allow them to connect, and they want to use brands that have a positive impact on society”, concluded Becher.
