How to know if a deceased relative has money in the bank?
Through the SBS, you can find out if a relative who has died has resources in the financial system. Among the services that you can request for free are the following:

Informed heirs: how to access this service for free?
You can carry out all the procedures so freeface-to-face or virtually. Follow these steps to access.
- Enter the SBS online services portal: https://servicios.sbs.gob.pe/serviciosenlinea.
- Click on Informed Heirs HERE.
- Register or log in with your already created account.
- Request the information you need and remember that in some cases you will require documents, such as the death certificate (or declaration of presumed death), electronic certificate of declaration of heirs or will registered in Public Records. These are attached in PDF.
You can also request this information in person at the user service offices or party desk. However, you will need to fill out the required forms and bring them with you. These can be found at THIS LINK.
