More than S/8,232 million to reactivate GDP

He Executive power sent to the Congress of the Republic a bill that approves supplementary credits that exceed S / 8,232 million and will be used, mainly, to finance the economic reactivation of families, regions and sectors affected by the current local context.

The proposal details that it is necessary to incorporate more than S/2,013 million to boost the family economy; of which S/124 million will go to strengthen the “Peru Lurawi” program, since it will allow financing 1,140 immediate intervention activities in favor of 1,140 local governments. It is expected to generate 50,000 temporary jobs.

While, S/240 million it will be used for the delivery of food to more than 730,000 citizens in a situation of vulnerability and lack of at least one basic need.

Likewise, another S/1,000 million would be for the payment of the social debt to more than 100,000 active and unemployed teachers.

For the reactivation of the regions, the Government will provide S/2,267 million. These resources will make it possible to finance 1,087 investment projects and investments for Optimization, Marginal Expansion, Rehabilitation and Replacement (Ioarr).

If the project is approved, S/200 million will also be allocated to finance the granting of the Family Housing Bonus (BFH) in the modality of construction on its own site for the departments of Arequipa, Cajamarca, Cusco, Loreto, Madre de Dios, Moquegua, Puno, Tacna and Ucayali.

It would benefit up to 6,734 families and would promote the creation of 5,800 jobs in activities related to the construction sector.

In order to promote the reactivation of the sector, the Executive seeks to incorporate S/225 million to promote measures that support agriculture and tourism, as well as legal devices to face citizen insecurity.

The Executive’s proposal includes S/350 million for the mass use of natural gas and access to LPG, as La República had advanced.

With this, an additional 505 kilometers of distribution networks will be built to benefit 25,200 residential users and it will be possible to connect 10 hospitals. It will also allow 10,000 vehicles to be converted to CNG.
