The strike convened by ELA, CCOO, LAB and UGT for this Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the accommodation in Gipuzkoa has been suspendeddida after reaching an agreement unions and employers around the agreement.

In addition, the agreement reached contemplates “a reduction of seven hours of work in the annual shift in 2023 and another seven in 2024 for chambermaids.” “Article 25 that complements the salary in cases of exempted ERTEs, as was the case with Covid,” is also maintained, as highlighted by ELA.

The union has indicated that the agreement has been ratified by its delegates in the sector, with “more than 67 percent representation.” For ELA, the “change in the employers’ attitude is the result of the work carried out and the strength shown by each of the templates”, which he has congratulated.
