The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) authorized the transfer of S/ 51 million 151,009 to the Mivivienda Fund to continue with the delivery of the Family Housing Bonus (BFH) in the New Housing Acquisition modality, according to Ministerial Resolution 185-2022 -Housing, published today in the official newspaper El Peruano.
The rule that bears the signature of the Minister of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, Geiner Alvarado, establishes that the resources transferred to the BFH may not be used for different purposes.
In this sense, the General Directorate of Programs and Projects in Housing and Urban Development of the MVCS will be the body responsible for monitoring and ensuring that the goals for which the financial transfer is made are met.
For its part, the Mivivienda Fund will inform the MVCS about the physical and financial progress of the execution of the BFH for the Acquisition of New Housing.
According to the MVCS, this transfer will allow 1,270 low-income families to buy a home with the help of the BFH, which in this modality consists of financial support of S/ 40,250.
The BFH for New Home Acquisition is a subsidy that families whose monthly income does not exceed S/ 3,715 can receive, provided that the home they wish to buy has a value below S/ 120,300, if it is a property in building, fifth or housing complex, or S / 96,300, if it is a single-family lot.
Finally, the ministry stressed that this transfer responds to an allocation of S / 116 million 300,000 made to the MVCS so that it could guarantee the delivery of housing bonds in the coming months.
