The online services of the Tax Administration (SRI) represent inconveniences for reporting income tax.

SRI director Francisco Briones announced Monday afternoon that services “suffered degradation due to heavy user traffic.”

Faced with this situation, Briones reported that the decisions that will be announced in the next few hours are being evaluated, “to modify the effects of the interruption”, he offered.

This month, March, corresponds to the income tax return for companies and individuals, which corresponds to the fiscal year 2022.

The process started on March 11 and is done according to the calendar, according to the ninth digit of the RUC or identity card. Taxpayers of the Tax Regime for Popular Companies and Entrepreneurs (Rimpe) must also do this.

Through social networks, several people expressed their discomfort that they could not publish a statement on the SRI website.

One of them was Michael Toscani, who posted a message on Twitter consulting the IRS about the inconvenience. “What about your SRI online site I can’t access to file income tax. Then they slap us with a fine,” he asked.
