Airlines raise their fares up to US$242 due to rains in the north

Interprovincial bus companies temporarily suspended their services due to heavy rains in the north. In this context, the price of flights to Lima have risen in the last few hours, according to the information provided by these airlines on their websites.

For example in JetSmart — Known for being a low cost agency — offer US$217 to return from Trujillo to the capital for flights this Sunday, March 12. While from Piura, the rate ranges between US$127 and US$187 for this Monday, March 13.

In Sky Departures from Piura to Lima start at US$120 for Sunday, and in Latam, from Tumbes, prices reach peaks of US$115 (apart from taxes).

On the other hand, it is worth noting that in the interprovincial section by land, the companies Civa, Oltursa and ITTSA will provide facilities to passengers affected by the suspension of travel.
