The ex-Odebrecht and former Graña y Montero concessionaire is no longer going with the Chavimochic Special Project (PECh), since the Ministry of Agriculture will now take over through the Irrigation Subsector Program (PSI), for which this Friday, March 3, the final delivery of the balance of the work will be signed, reported the president of the Investigative Commission Multiparty Control and Promoter of the Third Stage of the PECh, Congressman Víctor Flores Ruiz.
The legislator announced that they visited the Palo Redondo dam camp, located in the Virú province of the La Libertad region, to conclude with the receipt of the goods. “Good news is that we will go to the dam camp area round stick for the delivery of the goods. After that, it is expedited for the completion of the dam to be seen by the Irrigation Sub-sector Program (PSI) through a Government-to-Government contract,” said the parliamentarian.
It also indicated that the concessionaire will cease to possess the assets of the PECh after the issuance of the final award, which favored the current government. In addition, he explained that this definitive granting would lead to the restart of the construction of Palo Redondo.
On the other hand, he reported that the PSI will hire a company to determine the valuation of works. “A company is going to be hired to determine the valuation of the works in order to know how the project is for the award of the good pro in the future, from Government to Government,” he mentioned.
