Artisanal fishermen will receive a subsidy of S/500. They will have until April 30 to collect the grant.
The Ministry of Production (Produces) approved yesterday, through Supreme Resolution No. 000091-2023-PRODUCE, the list of beneficiaries of the Artisanal Fisherman’s Bonus, which includes boarders and non-boarders with a fishing permit. This with the aim of contributing to the economic recovery of this activity within the framework of the Economic Reactivation Plan “With Punche Peru”.
In accordance with the norm that previously established this subsidy, DU No. 004-2023, the subsidy in favor of artisanal fishermen is S/500 and will be delivered only once. It is intended for those seafarers who are formally engaged in artisanal fishing activity and who are included in the Register of Beneficiaries of Artisanal Fishermen.
To find out if they are beneficiaries, fishermen must enter the platform enabled by Produce by CLICKING HERE. Once in the portal, they must write their ID number, then consult and, if they are considered in the register, they will see the message: “If you are entitled to the Artisanal Fisherman Bonus”.
The Ministry of Production has a period of 10 calendar days, counted from the approval of the list of beneficiaries, to carry out the negotiations with the Banco de la Nación to implement the start of the disbursement of the economic subsidy.
The benefited fishermen will have until April 30 of this year to collect the subsidy.
