This Thursday the Executive Branch sent the Congress a bill that seeks to create a housing rental bonus for emergencies, in order to help citizens affected by a natural disaster or induced by human action, and whose home is uninhabitable or completely demolished.
This damaged home must be located within an area in a state of emergency, and according to the initiative, the lease bonus would have a value of S / 500 that will be granted monthly for a maximum period of up to two years.
To access this aid, citizens must submit an application to the local district government or Citizen Service Center of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS). After that, you will receive the disbursement of this aid through the MiVivienda Fund.
The initiative specifies that the tenant of the damaged home is not a beneficiary of this rental bond.
