Rosemary is an evergreen, fragrant shrub that we reach for most often during cooking. It gives dishes an unusual taste and aroma. Interestingly, it is also worth using it in hair care, which will gently cleanse and refresh, and at the same time have a soothing effect. It not only strengthens the bulbs and stimulates their growth, but above all, it inhibits hair loss and deals with dandruff. In the summer, owners of dark strands should reach for it, as it will protect them from color loss caused by exposure to the sun.

You can use rosemary on your hair in several ways. How to prepare it?

Rosemary is best used in the form of a decoction. To make it, you will need a few fresh twigs and distilled water. How to prepare it?

  1. Pour distilled water into the pot and add the twigs.
  2. Cook for several hours over low heat until you bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Leave to cool, dilute in water, strain, and then pour into a bottle with an atomizer.

If not massage access to fresh rosemary, use essential oil. Dilute a dozen or so drops with 2 cups of boiling water.

You can use rosemary water in several ways:

  • as a natural scalp rub, which should be applied with circular movements while performing a massage,
  • as a hair spray
  • as an addition to shampoos and masks,
  • as a rinse, however, in this case, care should be taken as it may darken the natural color.

It is worth knowing that rosemary water is also suitable for face care. People who struggle with oily and acne-prone skin will especially love it.
