The first of these is the definitive concession to develop electricity generation activity with renewable energy resources for the Sunny Photovoltaic Solar Power Plant project, located in the La Joya district, Arequipa region, with an installed capacity of 204 megawatts (MW). Said concession was granted in favor of Kallpa Generación SA through Ministerial Resolution 054-2023-MINEM/DM.
Likewise, the company Hidroeléctrica América SAC was granted the definitive concession to develop the activity of generating electricity with renewable energy resources in the Pachachaca 2 Hydroelectric Power Plant project, with an installed capacity of 19.8 MW, located in the provinces of Andahuaylas and Abancay, respectively, in the Apurímac region, according to Ministerial Resolution 067-2023-MINEM/DM.
Through Ministerial Resolution 050-2023-MINEM/DM, the company Zeus Energía SAC is authorized to develop feasibility studies for the Huáscar Wind Farm project with an estimated installed power of 300 MW, located in the province of Paita, Piura region.
