Executive Director of Agro Rural completed the delivery of sheds and canopies in Pasco

After completing the installation of the sheds and canopies in the El Porvenir community, in the NInacaca district, in Pasco, the Executive Director of Agro Rural, Rogelio Huamaní, made the official delivery of these modules to livestock and agricultural producers in this area so that they can protect their livestock and protect their crops from the low temperatures in this region.

In total there are 80 sheds, with rustic infrastructure of approximately 128 square meters, which have been delivered in the Pasco region, which will protect around 80,000 head of alpaca and sheep cattle, benefiting 80 families dedicated to different livestock activities.

In the case of fitotoldosThere are 150 modules delivered in this region, benefiting more than 750 farmers, complementing their diet with the production of strawberries, aguaymanto, cabbage, lettuce, onion and hot pepper in high Andean areas and also the sale of these products in local markets.

“Faced with this problem that afflicts our producers in the high Andean areas of our country, which are low temperatures, Agro Rural starts the installation of sheds and canopies, so that our producers can protect their livestock, reducing the rate of sick animals and mortality of the same, as well as the protection of the crops of their vegetables and fruits “, highlighted the Executive Director of Agro Rural, Rogelio Huamaní, during the delivery of these modules.

It should be noted that both activities were carried out within the framework of the “Multisectoral Plan for Frost and Cold 2019-2021”, with the presence of local authorities, who were part of the delivery ceremony.
